C oterie Hudson Yards, a lux- ury senior living community in New York City, on July 2 hosted its first Chef Show - down, a collaboration and friendly cook-off developed to use the power of food to foster connection and inspiration among residents. Held in The Brass Room, Coterie’s signature restaurant, the event paired each of three acclaimed chefs with a Coterie resident sous chef to work together to craft a dish inspired by the residents’ own culinary memories. The guest chefs were James Beard Award winners Maneet Chauhan and Michel Nischan, and award-winning chef Chad Welch, who is Coterie’s corporate executive chef and culinary program developer.
